Tijger
After Mickey died I called the animal shelter.They
told me they had a litter of kittens born on August 31st.
I drove there
right away and picked Tijger. He was four weeks
old then and had to stay for a little while.
Tijger
lived in a roomy crate in the living room for the first two weeks so
the dogs could get get used to him.
Kyra
adopted Tijger as her
child almost right away! Tijger was allowed to suck her nipples until
they bled!
Spike
was a different story!
In the beginning he didn't like Tijger at all. But during the last couple
of months something like a friendship has been starting between the
two of them! Spike is the leader and Tijger has accepted this fact.
Tijger has become half a Border Terrier. He looks upon Spike as his
great example.
Tijger
died 14 May 2002, he was hit by a car....
Tijger was a house cat
till March this year. He was allowed to go in the garden on a long lead.
Everybody told me to let him go outside on his own, off lead. Sadly
I listened. I always feared something like this would happen, but all
cats in the neighbourhood reach respectable ages so I thought I was
overprotective....He was so happy on his own outside so I thought I
did the right thing, now he is dead and I can't turn the clock....
Kyra is mourning too. After the accident she went to our bed and stayed
there.
